An Ohio veterinarian saved a dog’s lives after he found a tumor on its leg after he used the dog as a pet for an extended period.
Dr. David Zalaznick had been performing surgery on the dog, M.S., when he found the tumor on his leg.
The vet performed a partial surgery and said the dog was in a “fairly good condition” but the tumor was “still quite large.”
Dr. Zalznick said the tumor had grown and it was “pretty aggressive.”
He also told the Associated Press that the tumor “seemed to be more aggressive than we anticipated.”
M.S. was on his own for more than a year after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, but his condition improved.
He has been released from the hospital.
He’s now recovering in a veterinary hospital in Cincinnati.
