A driver who crashed into a school bus during a graduation ceremony in the Bronx on Saturday is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
The crash happened around 7 p.m.
Saturday near the intersection of West 36th Street and Broadway, police tweeted.
No injuries were reported.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was identified by the NYPD as Mario P. Rodriguez, of Brooklyn, police spokesman Paul Browne said in a statement.
He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, Browne said.
Rodriguez was arrested for speeding and possession of stolen property, police added.
The NYPD tweeted that the driver’s identity will be released in the coming days.
