A $150K Honda Accord can be fixed without much difficulty with a small amount of repairs, thanks to a small repair shop that can easily be found in Ontario.
The owner of the repair shop, James Karpinski, told CBC News the shop is in the area of Brantford and his dealership has a “very strong presence” in that area.
“It’s pretty easy to do a quick check and find a mechanic, and I mean that’s not easy.
It’s just a couple hours,” Karpowski said.
“So I’m just trying to find a place to go, and we have a strong presence in that location.
We do the service on a daily basis.”
In addition to a quick and inexpensive fix, Karpinksi said the shop has some great customer service.
“I think I have a very good reputation with the people that come into the shop,” he said.
“We’ve had a few people call in from out of town, saying, ‘We were going to come in to have a car repaired but we just got hit by a truck,'” Karpinskis added.
The Honda Accord was hit by an SUV on Friday.
Karpinskys family has been in the car for more than a decade and he says the owner was very happy to see them.
“The guy is very happy and very appreciative,” he told CBC.
“He said, ‘Thank you for taking my car and giving it back.’
He said, you know, ‘That was very nice to see you.'”
He even bought the car, which was very helpful, he said.
“It wasn’t just a quick fix, though.
Karpski said the owners had trouble getting the car fixed themselves.”
They got in the vehicle and they started to get it fixed.
They got the brake lines fixed.
The air bags and the front bumper were fixed,” he added.”
But it took them about a week to get all the repairs done.
So, it took a little bit of time to get that car fixed.
“The Honda’s insurance company was able to help with the repairs, but Karpinsky said he is confident he can get the car repaired on his own.”
There’s no question in my mind that if we did the work ourselves, I would have had a much better experience than I did on Friday,” he stated.
Karski said he has been repairing cars for 30 years, and is proud to be able to offer a service like this.”
Every time I do it, I’m so proud of what I do,” he explained.”
A lot of times I get called by insurance companies and say, ‘Oh, you just got your car fixed for $150,’ and it doesn’t even occur to me to get out of there.
I’m happy to do that.
